1. Who we are
Learn Romanian (“we”, “us”) operates the website learnromanian.today and the Learn Romanian mobile app. You can reach us anytime at support@learnromanian.today.
2. Our privacy-first approach
The Learn Romanian app is designed to work fully offline. Your lessons, progress, and audio live on your own device. We don’t need (and don’t want) more of your data than necessary to provide the service.
3. Information we collect
- On this website: if you submit the contact or “notify me” forms, we collect the name and email you provide, and your message, so we can reply or tell you about launch.
- In the app: learning progress is stored locally on your device. If you create an account or subscribe, your email and subscription status are processed by the app stores (Apple, Google) and our payment provider.
- Basic analytics: we may collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data (such as page views) to improve the site. We do not build advertising profiles.
4. How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
- To send launch updates if you ask us to (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- To operate, maintain, and improve the app and website.
- To process subscriptions and prevent fraud.
5. Payments & subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your payment details are handled by those platforms, and we never see or store your card information.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run Learn Romanian (such as email delivery and hosting), and only as needed to provide the service, or where required by law.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Just email support@learnromanian.today and we’ll take care of it.
8. Children
Learn Romanian is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, do our best to let you know.
